National Volunteer Week is a time to celebrate the impact of volunteer service in our schools and communities. District 103 volunteers give countless hours to benefit our students and help our district excel. We are grateful for all you do for District 103 and Thank You for the tremendous positive impact you have on our school community!
In connection with National Volunteer Week, which takes place this week, the Lincolnshire–Prairie View School District 103 Board of Education will recognize its volunteer leaders at its meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 9, Daniel Wright library.
We welcome the community to attend the board meeting to recognize the leaders of the district's Parent Teacher Organization, Learning Fund Foundation, and D103 Music Boosters.
The Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is our volunteer-based non-profit organization that focuses on supporting our schools to enhance the learning process of our children.
The Learning Fund Foundation (LFF) is our parent volunteer educational foundation that serves as a catalyst for innovation, enrichment, and educational excellence for the entire District 103 community.
D103 Music Boosters is our parent group that provides support by assisting the chorus, band, orchestra, and fine arts programs in D103 schools.
"We thank our three volunteer organizations that partner with us to help raise our Leaders in Learning!" said Superintendent Scott Warren.
